Jury member Marco Baker commented: "You have a beautiful timbre and you certainly chose a difficult aria and you pulled it off fantastically. This aria must be sung in a very controlled way, especially towards the end. Puccini has written everything and actually you need to sing only what Puccini has written and that’s what you did. I would like to make one comment (…) in my view you can be more imploring. She thinks that Kalaf will be killed and she is very much in love with him. My compliments especially for that last note; I know how difficult that is."

HENSBROEK— Last weekend the Wogmeers Vocaal Ensemble performed in the Reformed Church in Hensbroek. Before the interval they performed different pieces under the leadership of Gerhard Wielakker. After the interval the mini opera Dido and Aeneas by Henry Purcell was performed. The public enjoyed the music thoroughly.
